My name is Brian and I have been transformed by the greatest and worst thing that has ever happened to me. The picture below is of my eye when I had a disease called scleritis which was an inflammation of the white part of my left eye. The inflammation was so severe that I now have a partially detached retina and a certain amount of vision loss. I was 3 weeks from my eye being removed and took every medication possible to stop my immune system from eating it away.
Lots to think about when you are in your early thirties and in the prime of life.
I am now on the other side of my sickness and have an amazing story to share that
will hopefully encourage others.
My book, “Holy Crap, Finding God’s Presence in your Pain” is the story of that journey and all the things I learned while being sick.
Life means something more to me since being sick and I want to help others find or rekindle a relationship with God and help them learn that you CAN find the “Holy”
in the “Crap” of life.
